PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device using an LED which ensures stabilized light emission, while reducing cost and improving reliability because smoothing capacitor is not required, realizes low power consumption, and does not generate electromagnetic noise at all because switching regulator is not used, and to provide a drive circuit of the lighting device using the LED, and a driving method of the lighting device using the LED.SOLUTION: A lighting device using an LED includes multiple LED light-emitting elements, and an LED drive circuit for driving them, where an LED matrix is formed of the multiple LED light-emitting elements, the LED matrix is configured to change an LED connection structure dynamically corresponding to an inputted AC waveform, by a matrix structure change control circuit, and to minimize loss in the control circuit and the element by optimizing the successively changing applied voltage and the request voltage of the element, thereby optimizing operation efficiency of a current control circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
