PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid light source device showing a high luminous efficiency and that can freely control color temperature.SOLUTION: A solid light source device comprises: N sets (N is an integer of 2 or more) of solid light source aggregates having a plurality of solid light source cells arranged in a matrix form; a multi-lens block including N incidence planes opposing against the N sets of solid light source aggregates to input light generated from each of the solid light source cells through matrix-shaped multi-lens cells; one emission plane for synthesizing light incident from the N incidence planes to emit the light through the matrix-shaped multi-lens cells; and a dichroic filter arranged to cross in slant with each of the incidence planes in the multi-lens block for selectively reflecting or passing light in response to a wavelength of incident light. A light distributing characteristic of light irradiated from the emission plane of the light are controlled by controlling a rate of electric power supplied to each of the solid light source cells.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
