PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter that can be used in both of searching and jamming, contributing to reduction in costs of radar devices, and to provide a radar device that includes the transmission device and transmission power control method.SOLUTION: When a first mode is specified, an RF signal is converted into a first pulse width for searching and a first anode voltage and first helix voltage for causing the RF signal to be output from a power amplifier with searching-purposed power are supplied to a microwave purposed electron tube used as the power amplifier. When a second mode is specified, the RF signal is converted into a second pulse width for jamming shorter than the first pulse width, and a second anode voltage and second helix voltage for causing the RF signal to be output from the power amplifier with jamming-purposed power higher than the searching-purposed power are supplied to the microwave-purposed electron tube.
