PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently absorb a pipeline propagation wave with the same ultrasonic absorber, even for a pipeline differing in material.;SOLUTION: There is provided an ultrasonic shock absorber 21, comprising a mat-like elastic porous material and provided on the outer face of an ultrasonic absorber 14, for buffering the reflection of a pipeline propagation wave at the interface of a pipeline 30 and the shock absorber 14 that arises from a difference in acoustic impedance between the pipeline 30 and the ultrasonic absorber 14, with an acoustic matching adjustment unit 23 changing the fastening force of a fastening unit 22 provided on the outer face of the ultrasonic shock absorber 21 in accordance with fastening operation to alter the degree of deformation of the ultrasonic shock absorber 21 by a pressing force, thereby adjusting the acoustic impedance of the ultrasonic shock absorber that affects the acoustic matching state of the pipeline 30, the ultrasonic absorber 14 and the ultrasonic shock absorber 21.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
