PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flowmeter which is easily attached/detached and can accurately measure the flow rate of fluid.SOLUTION: A clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter comprises: a first ultrasonic transducer 101 which makes a first ultrasonic signal obliquely incident on piping 10 where fluid flows at an angle θ; a second ultrasonic transducer 102 which is arranged at a position where the first ultrasonic signal can be received and makes the second ultrasonic signal obliquely incident on the piping 10 at the same angle as the incidence angle of the first ultrasonic signal; an ultrasonic absorption material 21 which is arranged in the piping 10 and absorbs ultrasonic noise components in the piping 10; and a release agent 22 which is arranged between the piping 10 and the ultrasonic absorption material 21 and makes the ultrasonic noise components pass from the piping 10 to the ultrasonic absorption material 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
