PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently reduce work burden when sorting documents in financial institutions or the like.SOLUTION: When taking in business documents in a business office 30, a paper sheet processing apparatus 10 generates document image data, character recognition result data, and corrected input data, and transmits document data including the generated data to a paper sheet classification apparatus 20 of a center 40. The paper sheet classification apparatus 20 takes in the documents transported from the business office 30 to generate document image data and character recognition result data and extracts and specifies document data by using the document image data and the character recognition result data, and then performs sorting of the documents by using the corrected input data of the specified document data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
