PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving-work assisting device that is able to reduce congestion and a work queue of a plurality of moving bodies carrying out a moving work in a work area.SOLUTION: A moving-work assisting device has a moving-body position detecting section and a passing-time difference detecting section, a reference passing-time difference storage section, a speed-adjustment information creating section, and a speed-adjustment information notifying section. The moving-body position detecting section detects the respective positions of a plurality of moving bodies carrying out a moving work in a predetermined work area. A passing-time difference detecting section detects a time difference between the time at which a first moving body has passed a predetermined position and the time at which a second moving body has passed it. A reference passing-time difference storage section stores a reference passing-time difference serving as a reference for a passing-time difference. The speed-adjustment information creating section creates speed-adjustment information for adjusting the respective speeds of the first moving body and the second moving body such that a passing-time difference between them is closer to the reference passing-time difference. The speed adjustment information notifying section notifies at least one of the first moving body and second moving body of the speed adjustment information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
