An object of the present invention is to provide an oil-extended rubber having improved physical properties and a rubber composition containing the oil-extended rubber as a component. For this purpose, an oil-extended rubber containing a vulcanizable rubber component and coconut oil having a free fatty acid content of 0.05% by mass or more has been provided.
