PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign substance inspection device that can eliminate an influence of a disturbance element, such as irregularities on a surface of a container to improve accuracy in detecting presence/absence of a foreign substance.;SOLUTION: A foreign substance inspection device is provided with: an illumination device 5 that illuminates a bottle 2 as an example of a container with an illumination luminous flux A in a first wavelength region having transparency to the bottle 2 and an illumination luminous flux B in a second wavelength region having a high scattering property on a surface of the bottle 2 compared with that of the illumination luminous flux A in the first wavelength region; a camera 6 that picks up an image of the bottle 2 to include an image in the first wavelength region and an image in the second wavelength region of the bottle 2 illuminated by the illumination device 5; and an image processing part 11 that creates an image based on a difference between the image in the first wavelength region and the image in the second wavelength region picked up by the camera 6 as an image for inspecting presence/absence of a foreign substance.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
