The base station 900 includes a detection unit 910, communication unit 920, and control unit 930. The detection unit 910 detects abnormality in the base station. The communication unit 920, when a communication failure occurs in the main channel, transmits notification information including a detection result showing a content of abnormality to the management device through the sub channel and receives handling information including information for instructing processing corresponding to the notification information from the management device through the sub channel.
