PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To homogenize molten glass by sufficiently stirring the entire molten glass inside a stirring vessel.SOLUTION: A stirrer includes a rotation axis and n sheets (n is a natural number of 2 or more) of stirring blades extending in a rotation radial direction from the rotation axis. Each stirring blade includes an axial blade separated from and arranged in parallel with the rotation axis, and a plurality of radial blades arranged so as to leave intervals therebetween in the rotation axis direction for allowing molten glass to pass through, and connecting the rotation axis and the axial blade. When the n sheets of the stirring blades are numbered as the first, second, ... and nth axial blades in order along the rotation direction, the radial blades of the kth stirring blade (k is a natural number, 1≤k≤n-1) are set as the kth radial blades and the radial blades of the nth stirring blade are set as the nth radial blades, then, regarding the arbitrary k, the kth radial blades and the (k+1)th radial blades are axially and alternately connected to the rotation axis, and also the nth radial blades and the first radial blades are axially and alternately connected to the rotation axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
