LIDAR stereo fusion live-action 3D model virtual reality video

摘要

A system for capturing live-action three-dimensional video is disclosed. The system includes a stereo camera pair and LIDAR to generate stereo images from which the three-dimensional data is derived and three-dimensional LIDAR data. A depth-from-stereo algorithm is used to generate three-dimensional camera data for a three-dimensional space from a stereo image, and is combined with three-dimensional LIDAR data having priority over the three-dimensional camera data.
