A system and method for connecting devices via a virtual global network is disclosed. In one embodiment, the network system includes an endpoint device and an access point server. The endpoint device includes a tunnel manager and a first virtual interface. The access point server includes at least one tunnel listener and a second virtual interface. One or more tunnels are formed, and the tunnel manager and the tunnel listener are connected. A virtual interface provides a logical access point for one or more tunnels.
