PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravity casting apparatus which can improve running even in a product having a complicated shape, and provide a cast excellent in quality.SOLUTION: A gravity casting apparatus 10 includes a first rotation body 12 provided so as to be rotatable around the horizontal rotation axis 11 as the center, a second rotation body 14 provided on the first rotation body 12 so as to be rotatable around a rotation axis 13 as the center orthogonal to the horizontal rotation axis 11, and a mold open/close mechanism 15 which is fixed on the second rotation body 14, and opens/closes a forming mold 16 in the horizontal direction in a standby position in which a sprue of the forming mold 16 to be attached is positioned upward.
