PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform highly accurate resolution conversion at high speed.SOLUTION: A distance image resolution conversion device comprises: an input unit to which a distance image becoming a processing object and a color image obtained by imaging a subject present at the same position with the distance image are inputted; a denoise unit which removes noise from the inputted distance image to generate a distance image from which noise has been removed; an SSM unit which performs upsample processing using auto-correlation on the distance image on the basis of the distance image, the distance image from which noise has been removed, and the color image, so as to generate an SSM unit high-resolution distance image; and a PLU unit which performs upsample processing by linear prediction on the basis of the distance image from which noise has been removed and the SSM unit high-resolution distance image, so as to generate a PLU unit high-resolution distance image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
