A visual display device comprising a plurality of laminated display layers for displaying a plurality of objects. The first reflective surface is positioned at a predetermined angle with respect to the plurality of stacked display layers and projects a first subset of objects toward the viewer in a first direction. The first subset of objects is projected as if it originated from a first focus area of interest comprising a first plurality of object planes. The second reflective surface is positioned at a predetermined angle with respect to the first plurality of laminated display layers. The first reflecting surface and the second reflecting surface are substantially parallel to each other. The second reflective surface projects a second subset of objects toward the viewer in a first direction.
