PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing trouble in a seawater system, and a trouble preventive.;SOLUTION: Provided is a method for preventing trouble in a seawater system where hydrogen peroxide or a hydrogen peroxide feeder and at least either an aliphatic quaternary ammonium salt represented by general formula (I) or N-mono-substituted alkylenediamine represented by general formula (II) are added to the seawater of the seawater system in the concentration and time effective for the sticking prevention of marine organisms in the seawater system and corrosion prevention for the copper alloy piping of the seawater system.
