PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component having a magnetic material formed from a soft magnetic metal material which enables the achievement of both of a high specific resistance and a predetermined magnetic property, and others.SOLUTION: Soft magnetic metal powder comprises particles of soft magnetic metal formed from an Fe-Si based alloy, in which the Fe-Si based alloy includes 110-650 ppm of P to a total content of 100 mass% of Fe and Si contents. A soft magnetic metal sintered compact comprises sintered particles of the soft magnetic metal formed from the Fe-Si based alloy, in which the Fe-Si based alloy includes 110-650 ppm of P to a total content of 100 mass% of Fe and Si contents.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
