PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wedge inserting machine for a rotary electric machine capable of reducing the number of steps of wedge inserting operation.;SOLUTION: A wedge inserting machine 20 for a rotary electric machine 1 includes: a housing 21 disposed in a slot 8; and a pressing portion 22 which is provided so as to be movable in the axial direction with respect to the housing 21 and presses a wedge 12 in the axial direction.
