PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing sensor system capable of downsizing an imaging device and simplifying wiring of cables, to provide a control method for an image processing sensor, and to provide the image processing sensor used in the image processing sensor system.SOLUTION: An image processing sensor separately comprises: an imaging device which has an imaging unit for imaging an inspection object and an illumination unit for illuminating the inspection object with light; and an image processing device which is connected to the imaging device and determines a quality of the inspection object by performing image processing to an image acquired by the imaging device. The image processing sensor generates image data by performing image processing to an image acquired by the imaging device. At least one image processing sensor includes a communication interface, and other image processing sensors transmit data including image data to an external computer and the like through one image processing sensor and a communication interface of one image processing sensor.
