PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rational construction method of a base structure and the base structure that enable a bottom slab constructed by a cement press-in construction method to be used as a base structure body when the base structure is constructed by applying the cement press-in construction method to a temporary earth retaining work, at the same time curtailing the construction period and reducing a construction cost.;SOLUTION: A construction method of a base structure includes the following steps for: constructing a vertical pit 10 in a ground as a temporary earth retaining structure by repeating steps for pressing-in a ring-form segment 12 into a ground G, excavating the ground G inside the segment 12 that has been pressed in and discharging the soil, and then adding the ring-form segment 12 on top of the existing segment 12; installing a reinforcement cage 14 assembled on the ground by lowering to a bottom part 16 of the vertical pit 10 that has been constructed; and casting concrete 28 such that to bury the reinforcement cage 14 that has been installed on the bottom part 16 of the vertical pit 10.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
