TUNNEL EXCAVATOR AND CALIBRATION METHOD FOR DISTORTION SENSOR ON THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel excavator that enables calibration of a distortion sensor to be made during excavation also, the distortion sensor measuring acting force exerted on a cutter head.;SOLUTION: A tunnel excavator 1 includes: a cutter head 11; a cutter column 12 supporting the cutter head 11 and rotating with the cutter head 11; a distortion sensor 22 provided on the cutter head 11 or the cutter column 12; a propulsion jack 21 for propelling the cutter head 11; an earth pressure sensor 19 for measuring an earth pressure component Fb of force exerted on the cutter head 11; and a control part 27 for acquiring a measurement value of acting force Fc exerted on the cutter head 11, based on an output from the distortion sensor. The control part 27 calibrates the distortion sensor 22 based at least on comparison between the earth pressure component Fb and the measurement value of the acting force Fc.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
