PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emission electrochemical element with a horizontal type structure, capable of increasing light intensity per unit current by a simple method without extremely increasing the number of electrodes which are wired.SOLUTION: There are provided a light emission electrochemical element which is an electroluminescence element which is arranged in parallel in contact with a first electrode, a light-emitting layer and a second electrode in this order and takes out a luminescence light in a direction orthogonal to an arrangement direction of the parallel arrangement, contacts with the light-emitting layer on a surface not in contact with the first electrode and the second electrode of the light-emitting layer or in the light-emitting layer and on the surface, and has one or more electrical conductor part arranged apart from the first electrode and the second electrode, and a light-emitting device having the light emission electrochemical element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
