PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support tool capable of reproducing a deformation behavior of a center pillar in an actual vehicle in performing a side collision test of a center pillar alone.SOLUTION: A support tool 1 for a side collision test of a center pillar 101 including a coupling part 101a for coupling a roof rail to an upper end includes, on a fixed block 2: a shaft member 3 that is to be coupled as a roof rail simulation material to the coupling part 101a of the center pillar 101; a pair of bearings 4 and 4 for rotatably supporting the shaft member 3; a support base 5 for supporting the pair of bearings 4 and 4; and a linear motion guide 6 for supporting the support base 5 so that the support base can linearly move in the vertical end direction of the center pillar 101 coupled to the shaft member 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
