PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation-type-discrimination detector capable of discriminating between different radiation types and accurately detecting radiation, and to provide a survey meter, radiation monitor, and personal dosimeter using the detector.SOLUTION: The radiation-type-discrimination detector includes: a first detector 10 in which a plurality of first detection units 10a, 10b, and 10c that react with a first radiation type such as a &bgr; ray are stacked in the travel direction of the first radiation type; and a second detector 12 in which a second detection unit 12a reacting with both of the first radiation type and a second radiation type such as a γ ray is disposed so as to overlap the first detector 10 in the travel direction of the first radiation type and second radiation type.
