PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for enhancing cold resistance of Oryza sativa.;SOLUTION: The invention provides: a method for enhancing cold resistance exhibiting growth of Oryza sativa at a low-temperature and the boot stage cold resistance of Oryza sativa, which includes: introducing, into Oryza sativa, variant PP2C gene having substitution of asparagine for glycine at position 183 of PP2C gene (clade A protein phosphatase type 2C gene) providing abscisic acid insusceptibility, or substitution of alanine for tryptophan at position 315 of PP2C gene; and Oryza sativa with enhanced cold resistance obtained by the same.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
