PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation scheduling system and a method, capable of achieving entire optimization of electric power cost and reduction of thermal energy in a micro grid including plural sites of plural different business entities.SOLUTION: An operation scheduling system of micro grid in an embodiment has a double hierarchical structure including an AEMS (Area Energy Management System) which manages plural sites and an EMS (Energy Management System) which manages each site. The AEMS determines an operation schedule for reducing the energy cost within the micro grid by coordinating interchange amount of the electric power among the sites based on a piece of information relevant to the electric power amount at each site obtained from the EMS.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
