PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize effective rehabilitation for easing pain such as phantom limb pain, etc. and paralysis due to cerebral infarction, etc.SOLUTION: A rehabilitation support device comprises: a movement detection unit that detects a body movement of a patient carrying out rehabilitation; and an arithmetic processing unit that virtually generates a bodily expression in the patient's brain. The arithmetic processing unit plans the body movement required in the rehabilitation, recognizes the body movement detected by the movement detection unit and then virtually generates the bodily expression in the patient's brain. Then, the device generates an image on the basis of the virtual bodily expression in the patient's brain and presents it to the patient.
