According to an embodiment of the present invention, a strip position measuring device comprises: an image measuring unit obtaining image information on a strip; and an edge detecting unit detecting an edge of the strip by performing a pre-filtering process on the image information wherein the edge detecting unit calculates a one-dimensional profile value by combining a preprocessed image information in one direction, and the strip position measurement accuracy is able to be improved by detecting the edge of the strip using the weighted image information.
