PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insight exertion state determination device that can determine "insight presence" or "insight absence" from a brain wave.SOLUTION: An insight exertion state determination device includes a cingulate gyrus frontal average fractal dimension calculation unit 1, a cingulate gyrus rear average fractal dimension calculation unit 2, a coordinate point trajectory creation unit 3, a feature value memory unit 4 and an insight exertion determination unit 5. The coordinate point trajectory creation unit 3 creates a coordinate point trajectory obtained by plotting coordinate points determined by assuming one value of a cingulate gyrus frontal average fractal dimension and a cingulate gyrus rear average fractal dimension as a horizontal axis coordinate value, and the other value thereof as a vertical axis coordinate value, in time series. The insight exertion determination unit 5 determines presence or absence of the insight exertion by using the coordinate point trajectory.
