PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the lighting control in accordance with coordinate systems in an overlapped area where a street light system using the coordinate systems different from each other is installed.SOLUTION: A street light system comprises: a sensor unit that includes sensing means for sensing a dynamic body, storage means for storing location information that a position of the installation location of the sensor unit is defined in at least one coordinate system, and sending means for sending dynamic body detection information including the location information to other unit when the dynamic body is detected; and a street light unit that includes illumination means for lighting the circumference, receiving means for receiving the dynamic body detection information from the sensor unit, and control means for controlling lighting and extinction of the illumination means under the lighting conditions predetermined in accordance with the coordinate system in a case where the position of the sensor unit based on the location information is within the area predetermined in a coordinate system in that the location information is defined when the dynamic body sensing information is received.
