The manufacture of photocatalytic color switching of redox imaging nanomaterials for rewritable media is disclosed. The new color switching system is based on a photocatalytic redox reaction that allows reversible and fairly fast color switching in response to light irradiation. According to an exemplary embodiment, the color switching system can include a photocatalyst and an imaging media. Due to the photocatalyst, UV light irradiation is accompanied by a distinct color change and can rapidly reduce redox imaging nanomaterials, while the resulting reduced system can be exposed to visible light irradiation or heating in air conditions. , Can return to the original color state.
