Vacuum lamination method for forming conformally coated articles and related conformally coated articles formed therefrom

A vacuum lamination method is provided for forming a conformally coated article having a preformed laminate layer conformally coated on or on an object such as an LED array. These vacuum lamination methods are performed before the laminate layer preformed on the article, such as an array of light emitting diodes disposed on the inner portion of the first surface of the submount wafer, is conformally coated. A single heating step is used to heat the intermediate portion of the reformed laminate layer to flow conditions. [Selection] Figure 1
