PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce workloads by easily positioning hollow shape materials, and to successfully join the hollow shape materials when a plurality of hollow shape materials are joined by a bobbin tool type friction agitation joining method.SOLUTION: Joint structure of friction agitation joining comprises a pair of hollow shape materials having a first plate part, a second plate part arranged so that plate surfaces are separated from each other and face each other, and a coupling part for coupling the first plate part and the second plate part. Each of the pair of hollow shape members further has an engaging part projecting from the coupling part. Spaces are formed between a butt part of joining ends and a fitting part of the engaging parts of the first plate part, and between the butt part of the joining ends and the fitting part of the engaging parts of the second plate part, respectively, by separating the coupling parts of the pair of hollow shape materials from each other, and separating the engaging parts from the first plate part and the second plate part in order to form a space through which a bobbin tool for joining the joining ends of the first plate part and the joining ends of the second plate part can pass.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
