Reflective color display and manufacturing method of reflection type color display

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective color display having both sufficient reflectance and color reproducibility.SOLUTION: A reflective color display includes: a monochrome reflective display panel having a reflective layer 13 which reflects light entering from outside of the reflective color display; and a color filter having a pixel pattern corresponding to a pixel electrode pattern of the monochrome reflective display panel. Each colored section 20 of the color filter has a convex shape protruding toward a front-face side where light reflected the reflective layer 13 arrives. A refractive index n1 of the colored sections 20 and a refractive index n2 of a layer sandwiched between the colored sections 20 and the reflective layer 13 satisfy a relational expression; 0.88×n1n21.13×n1.
