PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorization method and an antibacterial method excellent in safety and achieving effectiveness to the corners of an objective space; to provide a microorganism powder, a microorganism-containing liquid agent, and a microorganism-containing gelled agent; and to provide an antibacterial method to prevent occurrence of causative bacteria causing respiratory diseases.SOLUTION: There are provided an antibacterial method to inhibit growth of bacteria present in a non-contact state and in a space by use of components generated by microorganisms, and a deodorization method to decompose stinky components. The microorganisms releasing the effective components can be used as a microorganism powder prepared by drying the microorganisms carried on a microorganism carrier, as a microorganism-containing liquid agent, or as a microorganism-containing gelled agent prepared by making a water-absorbing polymer absorb water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
