PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in a conventional known serum tumor marker, that it is difficult to detect breast cancer in an early stage, and false positive results occur often, namely, there is no serum tumor marker by which breast cancer can be detected in an early stage and having high specificity, therefore, it is desired to develop a serum tumor marker by which breast cancer can be detected in an early stage and having high specificity; and to provide a serum tumor marker, while considering the above-mentioned problems, which is effective for selective detection of breast cancer, a kit for selective detection of breast cancer, and a selective detection method of breast cancer using the serum tumor marker.SOLUTION: Provided is the serum tumor marker for breast cancer detection, including DJ-1 protein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
