PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyhydroxyurethane water dispersion composition capable of being used as a resin for forming a coated film of an aqueous coating or coating agent, overcoming problems of conventional technologies when using a hydroxypolyurethane resin, enhancing gas barrier properties by good composite with clay mineral and having good stability capable of practical use.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyhydroxyurethane water dispersion composition containing (A) an anionic polyhydroxyurethane resin having a carboxyl group and a hydroxyl group and (B) a laminar clay mineral with (B) component of 1 to 50 pts.mass based on the (A) component of 100 pts.mass and the total content of the (A) component and the (B) component in the water dispersion composition of 10 to 50 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
