PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device in which it is possible to recognize a quantity and a remaining number of articles to be inspected without a worker checking (visually observing) display means in the inspection device.SOLUTION: An inspection device 30 for inspecting articles 2 includes a wireless bar code reader 32 for reading an article bar code 11 provided to the articles 2, a tablet terminal 31 for counting the quantity of the articles 2 from which the article bar code 11 is read by the wireless bar code reader 32, and counting the remaining number of the articles 2 that need to be inspected based on the quantity of the counted articles 2, and a headset 33 for notifying of the remaining number of the articles 2 counted by the tablet terminal 31 with a notification sound. The headset 33 is configured so as to notify of the remaining number of the articles 2 when the remaining number of the articles 2 counted by the tablet terminal 31 reaches a predetermined remaining number or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
