PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer for a tunnel, which controls blast noises and vibration noises generated by strong winds such as a blast.SOLUTION: A silencer is used for a tunnel that is provided with a passage 1 opened on a pit mouth side and a cutting face side and in which an ordinary noise silencer 30 is installed in the state of facing the passage 1. The ordinary noise silencer 30 comprises a plurality of sound absorption materials 34 and 36 that are arranged at intervals so that a duct 44 for communicating the pit mouth side and the cutting face side with each other can be formed among them.
