PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating and recovering barley bran for recovering polyphenol and β-glucan at good efficiency from a barley bran which has been almost used as feed for domestic animals and shochu liquid waste disposals as industrial wastes conventionally.SOLUTION: A recovery method S10 of barley bran using barley bran exhausted in a milling process S1 of the barley bran, includes a first recovery process of determining a component of the barley bran exhausted in the milling process S1 and selectively recovering first barley bran having polyphenol content of a predetermined amount or more, and a second recovery process of determining the component of the barley bran exhausted in the milling process S1 and recovering second barley bran having β-glucan content of a predetermined amount or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
