PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a large number of impulse responses having a tone color similar to a preliminary given impulse response and having arbitrary reverberation times set with low mutual correlation.SOLUTION: An impulse response generation device includes: a signal separation section 10 which separates an impulse response into an initial reflection tone and a rear part reverberation tone; a time window multiplication section 20 which multiplies a window function obtained by shifting a time window of a prescribed time length a plurality of times, by the initial reflection tone and the rear part reverberation tone; time setting section 60 which deletes or duplicates an output of the time window multiplication section that is related to at least either the initial reflection tone or the rear part reverberation tone, per time window, and changes the time length; and a signal summation section 50 which sums the output of the time setting section related to the initial reflection tone and the rear part reverberation tone.
