PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining whether the intestinal flora is of elderly type or of youngish type.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for determining the degree of aging of an intestinal flora comprising a step of judging the intestinal flora on the basis of the ratio of the population belonging to the family of Lachnospiraceae to the total number of microorganisms (bacteria and archaea) contained in a fecal sample.
