PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which authenticity of color codes can be easily checked.SOLUTION: A color code authenticity determining apparatus comprises a memory unit storing unique color codes and relevant information associated in advance with the color codes, an image accepting unit that accepts image information configured to contain one or more color codes, a color code identifying unit that identifies color codes contained in the image information, an incidental information acquiring unit that acquires prescribed incidental information contained in the image information, and an authenticity determining unit that identifies the relevant information associated with the color codes identified by the color code identifying unit and determines color codes matching the incidental information to be authentic.
