PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating a mixed resin of a mixed bed type resin-filled column which can rapidly and surely separate a mixed resin while reducing a height of the mixed bed type resin-filled column; a mixed bed type resin-filled column; and a water treatment device.SOLUTION: A step of separating a mixed resin 100 in a filled column 3 includes an upper layer backwashing step and a second entire layer backwashing step. The upper layer backwashing step includes passing water from an intermediate port 34 of the filled column 3 and thereby backwashing an upper layer portion of the mixed resin 100, and completing separation of a resin in the upper layer portion in advance. Then, the second entire layer backwashing step includes backwashing the mixed resin 100 from the lower part, flowing a resin layer in the lower side than that in the upper layer portion, and consequently, excellently separating the resin in the entire layer. The filled column is subjected to the upper layer backwashing step, and whereby a height of the filled column 3 required for separation of the resin can be reduced. The filled column is backwashed sequentially from different heights, and whereby a time required for each step can be shortened without lowering a development ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
