PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for reduction in the trouble required for tests, and testing of an electromagnetic flowmeter without a detector and a calibrator.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic flowmeter testing method includes the steps of: generating a pseudo flow rate signal in test mode and inputting the pseudo flow rate signal to an amplification circuit instead of a flow rate signal from a detector (S100, S100); converting an output value of an AD converter which converts the flow rate signal amplified by the amplification circuit to a digital signal to a flow rate value (S102); and comparing the calculated flow rate value with the expected value stored in advance (S103).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
