PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration system, calibration method, image forming apparatus, and calibration program with which the accuracy in correction of gradation characteristics can be improved.SOLUTION: A calibration system calculates a color value distribution reference weighting coefficient based on the distribution of color values of pixels in patches in a photographed image created by simultaneously photographing, with a smartphone, a test chart printed by an MFP and a reference chart, for each of the patches (S134), subsequently calculates the representative value of the color values of the patches for each of the gradations on the basis the weighted average of the color values of the plurality of patches based on the color value distribution reference weighting coefficient (S135), and creates a gamma correction table on the basis of the representative value (S138).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
