PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration device for an image forming apparatus capable of performing calibration of an image forming apparatus in a simple and accurate manner.SOLUTION: A calibration device for an image forming apparatus includes: calculation means 120 for calculating color shift by subtracting a target value from respective values on orthogonal two axes not including brightness of a color system based on a measured hue value of a printed matter; and display means 130 for displaying color shift for each gray balance at the time of feed back, while capable of detecting the number of inversion of positive and negative of the color shift calculated by the calculation means and a change width of the color shift when the positive and negative of the color shift is inverted.
