PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To three-dimensionally estimate a reflection surface even when irregularity is formed on the reflection surface in front of a working face of a tunnel pit.SOLUTION: In a method and system, there are provided steps of: repetitively performing, for each working face excavation, operations of measuring a blast signal generated from a blasting unit with a blast signal detector 1, measuring elastic waves generated from a working face by the blast with a three-component seismograph 2, and recording them in a multi-component recording device 3; extracting direct waves from the elastic waves recorded in the recording device 3 for each working face excavation to estimate elastic wave velocity distribution in the tunnel pit of the working face on the basis of the direct waves; and extracting reflection/diffraction waves from the elastic waves recorded in the recording device 3 for each working face excavation to estimate a three-dimensional position space of the reflection/diffraction points and the reflection surface on the basis of the reflection/diffraction waves.
