PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology effective for obtaining premelt lime-iron oxide refining flux having desulfurization action or dephosphorization action from molten iron desulfurized slag.SOLUTION: In a recovery method of refining flux from a molten iron desulfurized slag, after pulverizing iron-containing desulfurized slag generated when performing molten iron desulfurization treatment using a lime-based desulfurizing agent, by heat treating, sulfur, fluorine and selenium contained in the pulverized desulfurized slag are removed and the iron contained in the desulfurized slag is oxidized, and premelt lime-iron oxide-containing based refining flux abundant in amount of calcium-ferrite is obtained. In a method of performing dephosphorization or desulfurization, the flux is used as a dephosphorization agent or a desulfurization agent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
